Strategic defense of the rights of companies and taxpayers in tax disputes and proceedings.

With more than 25 years of experience, our Tax Litigation practice protects the interests of companies and taxpayers in connection with actions taken by tax authorities and legal provisions that may affect their rights. We advise on the prevention, management, and resolution of tax disputes through a strategic approach that considers the specific characteristics of each matter and its potential operational impact.
We support clients through every stage of tax audits, from initiation to conclusion, maintaining ongoing engagement with the authorities to present the relevant legal and technical arguments. We also design and pursue alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including settlement agreements before PRODECON and Mutual Agreement Procedures under Mexico's tax treaties. Where formal defense is required, we prepare and file administrative appeals, nullity proceedings before the Federal Court of Administrative Affairs (Tribunal Federal de Justicia Administrativa), and constitutional relief proceedings (amparo) before the Federal Judiciary.
We closely monitor each proceeding through resolution or conclusion, including meetings with administrative and judicial authorities to substantiate the client's position. This integrated support enables us to build robust defenses, reduce uncertainty associated with tax disputes, and provide greater legal certainty for decision-making and business continuity.
