César’s practice focuses on dispute resolution and administrative and tax litigation in a wide range of sectors and transactions, representing national and foreign clients.

He has vast experience in litigation and tax controversies, as well as handling procedures initiated by tax authorities involving transfer pricing, the financial system, corporate restructuring and anti-money laundering. Although he is a litigator, César views litigation as a last resort, as he consistently seeks to resolve disputes to avoid it.

César also enjoys academia; he served as a professor of Tax Law at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) and Compliance at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA).

César has been selected on multiple occasions to serve as an expert witness in international arbitration proceedings, as well as in matters initiated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
