Our purpose is to contribute to a fairer and more sustainable society by fostering talent and creating long-term value for our Firm, our clients, our people, and the communities with which we engage.

Our Sustainability strategy is structured around four pillars:

We strive to ensure that ethics, integrity, and transparency underpin our decisions, processes, and services. We strengthen the prevention of risks relating to corruption, tax and legal compliance, money laundering, and other matters relevant to responsible business conduct aligned with international sustainability standards.

People, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Through our Culture C+ program, we promote open, respectful, equitable, and inclusive workplaces. Our initiatives on gender equity, diversity, inclusion of persons with disabilities, and support for the LGBTQ+ community aim to create conditions in which everyone can thrive and help build a better Firm.

Responsible Environmental Management

We take responsibility for managing and reducing the environmental impacts associated with our operations through initiatives focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, carbon footprint measurement, responsible resource consumption, and sound waste management. We continue to strengthen our contribution to global challenges such as climate change.

Community Engagement & Access to Justice

We have an institutional structure that includes a Pro Bono Committee, dedicated coordination, internal guidelines, and training programs. We also work with specialized organizations and clearinghouses to identify matters where our expertise can deliver the greatest value.

Among other initiatives, we develop and annually update the General Manual of Tax Requirements and Obligations for Civil Society Organizations, a practical resource designed to help nonprofit organizations meet their tax obligations.

At CHEVEZ, we continue to strengthen our pro bono practice by putting our experience at the service of society and contributing to a fairer, more inclusive, and more sustainable environment.

We also serve as reviewers and advisors to Pro Bono Standards Mexico and are signatories to the Vance Center’s Pro Bono Declaration of the Americas — initiatives that strengthen the pro bono practice and promote access to high-quality legal services.
