Gabriela Yañez joined CHEVEZ in 2008 and was promoted to Associate of the Firm in 2015. With more than 10 years of experience and a practical, business-oriented approach, her professional practice focuses on providing high-level tax advice to individuals and corporations, both domestic and foreign, across a wide range of sectors and industries, including financial services, consumer goods, and healthcare, among others. She specializes in tax litigation and the resolution of complex tax and administrative disputes at the Federal level, as well as in tax-related legal advisory services.

Her professional practice has centered on handling and defending audits conducted by tax authorities, defending clients in complex tax litigation and disputes before Federal authorities and courts, implementing alternative dispute resolution mechanisms before the Mexican Tax Ombudsman, and developing defense strategies against actions issued by tax and administrative authorities.
