With more than 25 years of experience, his professional practice has been primarily focused on developing defense and controversy strategies for high-profile tax and administrative matters, representing both domestic and international clients across a wide range of industries. He litigates highly complex cases before federal and state courts, including the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN).

In addition, he has experience in corporate and transactional tax advisory, as well as estate and succession planning. He has served for 15 years as a professor of Income Tax Law at the Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey (FLDM).

Ramón Orendain joined CHEVEZ in 1998 and was named Partner in 2010. He currently leads the Firm's Monterrey office.
