Samuel Aponte joined CHEVEZ in 2017 and was promoted to Associate in 2025. He serves as an advisor on operational restructurings and contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation in compliance with the OECD Guidelines and Mexican tax dispositions, as well as with arm’s length determinations.

Additionally, Samuel has experience in handling tax audits, the negotiation of Unilateral and Bilateral Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including Conclusive Agreements before PRODECON and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).

Throughout his professional practice, he has also participated in business valuations to analyze the market value of shares and various intangible assets through the application of diverse approaches and methodologies. He has also been involved in specialized economic analyses and anti-dumping controversies.

He holds a Degree in Economics from Universidad Panamericana (UP) and is a member of the Young IFA Network (YIN) of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
