He joined CHEVEZ in 1990 and was promoted to Partner in 2001. His professional practice has focused on business consulting, advisory services, and planning aimed at facilitating the generation of additional working capital for business operations and the recovery of invested capital, both domestically and internationally. He has advised on complex matters related to restructurings, acquisitions and divestitures, as well as audit processes. He also provides family wealth and estate planning advice to individuals and Family Offices, including succession planning and investment optimization.

He has served as a speaker at numerous forums in Mexico and abroad. In addition, he has taught various tax-related courses at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), with which he continues to maintain a close relationship to this day.

He serves as a board member, advisor, statutory auditor, corporate secretary, and committee member for a number of organizations, including: Consorcio Empresarial Dimova (investments); Consorcio ARA, S.A.B. de C.V. (housing and commercial real estate); Grupo Pueblo Bonito (tourism); Grupo Cever (automotive and food industries); the various Grupo Inditex companies in Mexico; Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid; and Pontegadea.

Ricardo is actively involved as a trustee and board member of several charitable foundations in both Mexico and Spain.
