Rafael Ramírez

Rafael is an Associate at CHEVEZ. His practice focuses on domestic and international tax advisory matters for businesses, investors and families, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, cross-border investments, wealth planning, tax audits and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as conclusive agreements before PRODECON and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP).

Prior to joining the Firm, Rafael participated in international tax and wealth planning projects for domestic and international clients. He also developed part of his professional practice in Luxembourg, where he worked on international tax, mergers and acquisitions, multinational group restructurings and cross-border investment structuring projects. He also has experience in tax and administrative litigation.

Rafael holds a Law Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) and an LL.M. in International Tax Law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien) and has completed various specialized tax programs and courses. He is a member of the Young IFA Network (YIN) of the International Fiscal Association and has co-authored publications on tax matters.
