Paulina Islas

Paulina joined the firm in 2012 and was promoted to Partner in 2026. She has more than 15 years of experience in international trade and administrative litigation, gained through private practice as well as her experience at the Federal Court of Administrative Justice, providing her with a comprehensive perspective on the prevention and resolution of disputes.

She has developed a robust practice advising companies on strategic and highly complex matters involving international trade, customs, free trade agreements, and trade remedy proceedings before the Ministry of Economy.

Paulina has been a panelist at the Mexican Bar Association’s National Congress, where she has spoken on topics including international trade tools to prevent slavery and child labor, as well as international frameworks for fair and sustainable trade. She has also been a speaker at conferences and training seminars on international trade and customs for various business chambers in Mexico.
