Paola Castro

Paola is an Associate of the Transfer Pricing practice at Chevez. She joined the Firm in 2013 and was promoted to Associate in 2020.

She has more than 13 years of experience advising domestic and international business groups on transfer pricing matters. Her practice includes transfer pricing diagnostics, compliance, planning, and specialized advisory services, as well as the design and implementation of strategies for complex intercompany transactions.

Throughout her career, she has advised companies across a wide range of industries on the documentation and analysis of related-party transactions, as well as the valuation of businesses, shares, and intangible assets. She has also participated in tax audits and controversy matters, including Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs), the negotiation of unilateral and bilateral Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs and BAPAs), conclusive agreements, and other alternative tax dispute resolution mechanisms.

Her experience also includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams and leading complex projects involving interactions with Mexican and foreign tax authorities, as well as international advisors.

In addition, Paola serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Management and Leadership at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she teaches undergraduate courses on leadership, strategy, and organizational development.
