Fernanda Martínez

Fernanda Martínez joined CHEVEZ in 2019 and was promoted to Associate in July 2024.

She specializes in tax law, with experience in tax advisory, tax litigation, and the handling of audits and examinations conducted by tax authorities.

Throughout her professional career, she has advised domestic and international companies on tax implications, compliance with tax obligations, and the resolution of disputes with tax authorities.

She also has experience in audit procedures and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, as well as in contentious proceedings before administrative and judicial authorities.

Her practice has focused on advising clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, insurance, retail, and technology, participating in the analysis of complex transactions and their tax implications.

In addition to her professional practice, she has served as a mentor in the Abogadas MX Mentorship Program, providing guidance and support to women lawyers in the development of their professional careers.
