María Fernanda Lores

María Fernanda Lores is a corporate and transactional attorney with experience primarily in mergers and acquisitions. She currently serves as a Supervising Associate at CHEVEZ, where she advises funds, investors, and domestic and international companies on the structuring and execution of acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Her experience spans across all stages of a transaction, from the initial review and due diligence process through the negotiation of transaction documents and closing. She has participated in both domestic and cross-border transactions, coordinating efforts with clients, international law firms, and advisors from various disciplines.

Throughout her career, she has developed a practice focused on understanding her clients’ businesses and supporting them throughout the entire transaction process, identifying legal risks and proposing practical solutions that facilitate successful deal execution. She also has experience in corporate reorganizations, foreign investment, corporate governance, venture capital, and real estate transactions.

Prior to joining CHEVEZ, she worked at Aziz & Kaye Abogados, Graham Abogados, and Barrera Betancourt Abogados, where she gained experience in corporate, contractual, financial, and real estate matters.
