Luis Manuel has over 30 years of experience in the tax field in Mexico and abroad.

He has provided tax advisory and consultancy to his clients in M&A, corporate restructuring, public debt and equity issuances, and estate planning, among others.

He is a Public Accountant from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), holding diplomas in International Taxation from ITAM, Harvard University, and The Shelton International Tax Training Institute.

He has been a professor at Universidad Panamericana (UP) and Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), teaching various subjects related to tax matters.

He is an active member of various organizations, such as the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF), the Fiscal Law Academy of Nuevo León, and the National Association of Tax Specialists (ANEFAC).

Luis Manuel joined the Firm in 1992 and was admitted as a Partner in 2003. He currently leads the tax area, where he manages and oversees the key strategies and operations in which CHEVEZ is involved.
