Cristina Suárez

Cristina is an Associate of Chevez, she was promoted in December 2022 in the Tax Consultancy area. Her professional practice has specialized in the areas of corporate restructuring in Mexico and abroad, due diligence for the sale and purchase of assets and negotiations, as well as private investments.

She has worked in collaboration with other areas of the Firm such as Corporate, Intellectual Property, Labor, International Trade and Social Security, where she participated in various projects involving international and national operations.

Among others, she has extensive experience advising clients in the retail, real estate, hospitality, passenger and freight transportation, financial services, food and beverage, and private equity sectors.

Cristina is also an ally of Chevez's LGBTQ+ employee resource group, Proud C+, which is dedicated to fostering inclusion, advancing equality, and promoting the rights of members of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, she has been involved with the Women C+ Committee, an initiative focused on recognizing and promoting the achievements, leadership, and contributions of women across diverse fields.

She has helped teach tax classes at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA).
