Jorge Ibarra joined CHEVEZ in 2021 and was promoted to Associate in 2026 in the Tax Consulting practice. His professional experience has focused on providing comprehensive tax advisory services to domestic and international companies across a wide range of sectors and industries, as well as estate and wealth planning advice to individuals.

He has participated in complex and highly specialized tax matters involving corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and the structuring of cross-border transactions. Additionally, he has experience in tax audit procedures, tax refund claims, and the application of international tax treaties aimed at preventing double taxation.

Currently, a significant portion of his practice is dedicated to advising clients in the automotive and mining industries.
