Héctor Steffani

Héctor joined CHEVEZ in 2010 and is currently a Senior Associate in the Tax Advisory practice. His professional practice focuses on providing tax advisory services to domestic and multinational companies across a broad range of industries, including mining, food and beverage, technology services, and infrastructure, as well as to high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

He has participated in M&A transactions in Mexico, the restructuring of international corporate groups, complex tax audits conducted by the Mexican tax authorities, federal tax refund claims, and the negotiation and implementation of conclusive agreements (acuerdos conclusivos). He also has extensive experience in the design and implementation of wealth planning structures and in advising high-net-worth individual taxpayers on compliance with their tax obligations.

Héctor has advised nonprofit organizations on obtaining authorization to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions, as well as on the tax aspects of their ongoing operations. In addition, he regularly delivers technical training and continuing education programs for the Firm’s professional staff.
