Fernando Ruiz Sahagún, founding partner of CHEVEZ, is a distinguished public accountant specializing in tax matters, advising clients across a wide range of industries and jurisdictions. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous conferences in Mexico and abroad and has authored various publications and articles on tax-related topics.

He founded CHEVEZ in 1981 and served as both a Tax Consulting Partner and Managing Partner of the Firm from its inception until his retirement in 2006. He currently serves as an Advisor to the Firm.

He served as Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (Mexican Business Coordinating Council) for 12 years, from 1998 to 2010, and has been a member on several occasions of the tax committees of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de México (CCPM) and the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos (IMCP).
