Fernando advises domestic and international clients across a broad range of industries and sectors, including public and private companies, private equity funds, and shareholders, on a wide variety of corporate transactions. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholders' agreements, corporate restructurings, strategic alliances, business combinations, capital raises, real estate projects, and investment fund formation, among others.

He also advises clients in complex and corporate matters, including the formation of SPVs, negotiation and closing of commercial agreements, the soft landing in Mexico of foreign investment and nearshoring projects, compliance with corporate obligations, shareholder resolutions and the design and implementation of governance structures.

He has been local counsel in high-end and mid-market multijurisdictional deals, standing out for his practical and business-oriented approach.

Fernando has also focused his practice on compliance matters, including the design of preventive mechanisms, as well as sophisticated ethics and integrity policies and programs aimed at adding value to his clients’ business and aligning with Mexican law and other international regulations.

He has participated as speaker and panelist in national and international conferences and has published several articles in recognized legal publications.
