Yadira Ávila

Yadira Avila joined CHEVEZ in 2018 and was promoted to Associate in 2023.

She has more than 10 years of experience in tax law, focusing on social security and local taxes. Her practice centers on tax and constitutional litigation. She also advises

private-sector clients across multiple industries in proceedings initiated by Mexican state level tax and social security authorities, as well as in proceedings before the Mexican Fiscal Ombudsman.

In addition, she has helped clients with design and implementation of compliance strategies on social security and local tax obligations, prevent and mitigate contingencies, and due diligence reports for potential mergers and acquisitions.

Yadira has served as co-author of articles on social security published in specialized media of the legal profession.
