Andres Zayas joined Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa in 2016. He is a lawyer with more than 10 years of experience. His professional practice has focused on advice in foreign trade and customs matters. as well as in the energy sector and regulatory matters.

Andres has an extensive experience in advising and litigating administrative proceedings before several units of the Federal Government, as well as leading multiple matters of national relevance, seeking the protection and promotion of private participation.

He has advised large national and international companies on compliance with foreign trade regulations governing exports, imports, and re-exports of goods, focusing on the implementation of compliance programs, audits, and requests for authorizations.

In addition, his practice is complemented with a vast experience in the energy sector, offering a comprehensive, specialized, and high-quality service, advising foreign and domestic companies, in matters of oil and gas, conventional power plants and mining, obtaining various authorizations and/or permits that allow them to operate in the domestic and international market, thus ensuring full compliance with the regulations in such matters.
