Andrés Castillo

Andrés is a tax consultant whose practice focuses on advising domestic and international companies, with particular experience in the hospitality, mining, and automotive sectors, as well as in providing wealth and estate planning advice to individuals and family groups.

His substantive experience includes analyzing the tax implications of corporate reorganizations and restructurings, such as mergers, spin-offs, acquisitions, and capital reductions, as well as reviewing compliance with the tax obligations arising from his clients’ business operations.

He has also assisted clients in managing proceedings before tax authorities, particularly in filing claims for refunds and offsets of federal taxes (Income Tax and Value-Added Tax).

In the area of dispute resolution, he has participated in audit procedures resulting from tax authority review powers, settlement agreements before the Taxpayer Defense Ombudsman (PRODECON), and supported the tax litigation team in pursuing administrative and legal remedies.

Andrés joined CHEVEZ in 2014 and was promoted to Associate in 2023.
